Birch telecom - Birch Communications slammed our business phone lines

Company Birch telecom

Monetary Loss

Birch represents itself as an AT&T affiliate when in fact they are an independent re-seller.They quoted rates and mentioned that the terms and conditions were stated in the Master Service Agreement (MSA).

We requested their Master Service Agreement (MSA) in writing before agreeing to switch to Birch. We never got the MSA and they proceeded to switch us anyway. Now they are saying we owe them 3 years of service with a $7,200 cancellation fee. We escalated the issue to a service manager and he said he could not help us.

He transferred us to repair.

They could not really help us because the lines are actually att lines. We are trying to switch back to att and take Birch to court with a suit for lost business.

I am very sorry to read about the issue you have experienced. While Birch is a separate company from AT&T, we go through lengthy verification processes to confirm that any customer who switches to our service from AT&T, or any other phone service company, is aware of this fact, and has to agree to that knowledge verbally as part of the contract with us. Please do forward your phone number, account number and contact information to me at laura.wagner@birch.com. Our Director of Customer Care will look more deeply into this issue, and contact you as soon as possible. Thank you. - Laura
