Company did not provide phone service. Could not contact customer service.

No return phone call. Now being charged $1784 for cancelling service. I was contacted by Birch Communications on what I thought was an excellent deal on telephone service for my business. I switched from ATT and was assured that I could call my customer service representative should I have any issues.

My customer service rep Susan Giraldi informed me that any issues should be referred directly to her and she gave me her number. The day I switched over , all the phones in my business stopped working. I had absolutely no service. I called my customer service rep but was told she was in a meeting.

I tried calling her several times in the next four days from my cell phone but never received a call back or any response from customer service. AFter four days of this, and many angry parents who could not contact the school, I contacted ATT and switched back over to them. After one month I received a bill from Birch Communications for $1784.55!! They said this was an early cancellation fee.

All of this for four days of service. I spoke to a person in billing and they told me that they had no way of verifying that I had indeed called my customer rep at any time. They also said that because of the third party verification that I had agreed to during the initial sales call they had no choice but to charge me an early termination fee. This is a terrible company with worst customer service .

I should not pay nearly two thousand dollars when I had absolutely no phone service and had no way of contacting the company.

They did not fulfill their part of the contract....providing phone service. This company uses fraudulent sales practices and does not provide phone service.
